My new year’s resolution

I’ve never made a new year’s resolution. I’m more of a “go with the flow” guy when it comes to my personal projects, and although I have some long-term goals, I don’t usually plan way ahead.

A month’s resolution was the most I was going for until now. But, this year (2013) I’m going to try something different. I just made a list of a few (most of them small) things to complete until the end of the year, and decided to post it here so I can commit to it.

Here it is:

  1. Write my PhD Thesis.
  2. Publish 24 posts in burnmind (23 to go).
  3. Publish at least one guest post in another English-speaking blog (I’ve already done it in Greek).
  4. Create a jQuery plugin.
  5. Release a small open-source project.
  6. Complete one of the web apps that I’m working on.

I’m going to keep this post on top of my bookmarks list, so I can remember it, and -hopefully- come back later and cross out items when they are complete.

Let’s have a happy, healthy, and productive new year. :)
